The Piedmont Prime Time Community Band is a performance oriented, non-profit organization comprised of volunteer musicians. The band provides musical entertainment for the community with concerts in the spring, fall, and during the holiday season. The band also performs at other special events in the area such as outdoor celebrations in the park and for other events upon invitation. We have musicians ranging in age from 14 to 76 and currently represent four North Carolina counties. These are Cabarrus County, Iredell County, Rowan County, and Mecklenburg County. Rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7 PM until 8:45 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 416 E 1st St, Kannapolis, NC. The band operates on a 2-semester schedule, January - April for the spring season and August - December for the fall and holiday season. They also perform during the summer on occasion as opportunities present themselves. There are no auditions; newcomers are always welcome!
